I just banged out three lesson plans in the last hour. That’s a record for me. Seriously.
I feel so inspired and creative this evening. I was able to come to a sense of closure and peace earlier today. This last week has been a big blob of depression, anger, and grief. However, today I attended my friend’s funeral and although I cried a lot during the service, I am now at peace with what has happened.
As a result, I have had this surge of energy and creativity. I’m beginning a Playwriting Unit with my 7-8 Drama class on Monday and I have some fantastic things planned for them next week!
It feels so good to be back.
